Developing film at home

Ah, now is September 2009 and I remember that one year ago was the first time I developed film myself, and it was very exciting to discover something like this. Actually I had never really used film cameras before except 1 or 2 very short times. For an unknown reason I bought an old russian rangefinder camera on ebay for 20 euros in September 2008. It was a FED2, a very nice camera, with a 50mm lens. When I received it, I went to a shop in Paris, boulevard Serurier, and bought some development products and black and white film. And I started shooting random pictures in the street, in the parc des Buttes Chaumont and an other small park I forgot the name. Then I came back home and developed this first roll of film. And I was very impressed, because it worked !

Now, the pictures :

And the following week, I took a few more near Chateau Thierry :

Pecheur

Now I rarely process film myself anymore, because it takes a lot of time, but I still use film, because it's more fun, and makes pictures that I like.
